For more than 20 years, Ready, Set, Read! has provided books, programming and resources to Los Angeles families, helping them lay the foundation for their children’s lifelong learning. Focusing on communities with systemic barriers to accessing children's books and early learning supports, Ready, Set, Read! provides an abundance of books and a series of three parent-focused workshops. Our program shines a light on the importance of a parent’s role in their child’s early learning and development, and equips them with the knowledge and skills to make the most of their role as their child’s first and best teacher, from infancy onward.
